Gaga People
From 1 August 2018 to 1st May 2019, I danced Gaga People weekly at the Chasse Dance Studios, Amsterdam, with teachers: Ian Robinson, Tamir Eting, and Keren Rosenberg.
5Rhythms
Since September 2019 – I have regularly joined weekly classes and workshops in 5 rhythms with amazing teacher Jup Jansonius. I feel immense respect for the work of Gabrielle Roth and her legacy.
Acogny Technique
During the COVID-19 pandemic, I am grateful to have been able to join daily online classes with amazing teachers from Ecole de Sables. The Acogny Technique is a methodology that fuses nature moves with contemporary dance and was created by the legendary dancer Germaine Acogny.
Whirling dance
After years of individual study and practice of whirling, the art of spinning inspired by Sufi dervishes, in 2021, I received valuable instructions from master sacred dancer and transformational teacher Banafsheh Sayyad into Sama, the holy ritual of whirling.
Psychedelic trance culture
Last but not least, I want to acknowledge and express my gratitude to the Psytrance community, art, and dance culture. Even though raves are considered to be a form of collective entertainment, I have found on the dance floors of Psytrance festivals and family-like gatherings the most safe space to unbound my body. My gratitude goes to all self-taught and genuine dancers with whom I have shared the dance floor and have experienced true ecstasy, exhaustion, and transgression through a collective dance.

Experiential dance is not an act for an audience, neither a style of dancing, it is a personal inquiry, a way to remember, rejoyce and express radient aliveness.
